The Salonki concept was developed collaboratively by a group working across design, architecture, and visual communication: Väinö Heiskanen, Wenla Nwajei, Siri Piippo-Pinho, Jussi Laine, Maria Klemetti Laine 
 
They are united by a strong visual sensibility, curiosity, and a shared drive to reshape how design and architecture show up in the world. They have realized exhibitions both in Finland and internationally, including for the Finnish Museum of Photography, Aalto University, Habitare, and Alcova Milano. Salonki 25 was their first collaborative exhibition project.
